In my recent trip saw this phrase "Naked Lights" and it resided in me. Immediately i knew that would like to expand my thoughts and words on them. So here goes.
There are moments when the universe seems to leave a few lights burning without their shades. They do not soften what they illuminate nor do them make anything prettier - they simply reveal.
I call them Naked lights.
Perhaps that is why certain moments in life feel almost unbearably clear - a thought arriving without invitation, a silence that somehow says more than conversation ever could. For a brief instant, something is lit from within, and we see it without the usual veils of reason & habit.
A strange familiarity with something we cannot name. The feeling that we have arrived at a place we have never been, yet somehow remember. A person we have just met who feels like an old sentence. A thought that appears in our mind and feels less like an invention than a message finally received.
Maybe we spend some portions of our lives looking through curtains and then every once in a while something peeks. A naked light appears and for a second, there is no shadow between what is and what we perceive.
Perhaps the universe is constantly speaking in light.
